MEN’S TEAM
Welcome to the Beijing Aardvarks Men’s Team, Beijing’s most social rugby team! Since our founding in 1999 by rugby-loving BLCU students and their newfound Chinese friends, we’ve grown into a vibrant community of young professionals and students. At the Aardvarks, we’re all about forging friendships, enjoying the thrill of rugby, creating unforgettable memories, and celebrating together, both on and off the field. Join us and be a part of our exciting journey!
The Aardvarks pride ourselves on our multiculturalism, with people from over 40 different countries having played for the team at various times. Most of our members are only in China for a short times but the friendships made through rugby last much longer.
The team has grown from pub meetings on Friday nights, to being a founding member of the Beijing Cup competition. We also host teams from all over the world and travel to various Chinese cities to participate in rugby tournaments. We are always looking for new people who are keen to enjoy some good rugby, make good mates and have a great time. Aardvarks can be see all over the world but their favourite off-field burrow is at Paddy O’Shea’s.
